We are a collective of citizens, members of the Association of Former Jewish Students of Belgium and Sympathisers (AAEJBS)
Our association was formed in the days following October 7, 2023, in response to hate demonstrations directed against Jews. The fact that these demonstrations emerged the day after the Hamas attacks, even before any military response from Israel, convinced us that an underlying hostility, linked to antisemitism, was being expressed through virulent anti-Zionism.
But we do not believe that it is all about hatred: ignorance, confusion of words, and raw emotion also play a major role in spreading tensions
Our Board of Directors comprises seven members who are involved in the various initiatives we undertake.
