Welcome on the "Association des Anciens Étudiants Juifs de Belgique et Sympathisants" (AAEJBS)
Our association was born following the events of October 7, 2023. Faced with the intensification of anti-Semitism in Belgium, we decided to come together and create a committed non-profit organization for solidarity, memory, and dialogue.

Our activities
Education
This group aims to fight against the resurgence of anti-Semitism, which has been phenomenal since October 7, 2023, worldwide and in Belgium. The actions of our group focus on teachers and educators in primary and secondary schools, as well as journalists or any group or institution concerned with anti-Semitism. A set of 34 explanatory sheets on the different aspects of the Israel-Palestine conflict has been designed with the primary concerns of historical objectivity, providing sources, and historically recognized references.
Shorashim
This group organizes testimonial sessions in schools. Over a hundred hours of testimonials have already been delivered in various schools, following the same method: a 'family' testimonial followed by a question and answer session with the students, in the presence of the teaching staff.
Social Media Reports
This group aims to respond to hate speech appearing on social media as well as anti-Semitic tags in the city. Each reported message and tag is the subject of a statement either to the concerned social network or to the competent municipal authority. These statements are made according to an extremely structured scheme established by legal experts of our association. These complaints have led in a significant number of cases to appropriate reactions, either by deleting the message or erasing the tag.
